When our featured alumnus joined the fellowship over a decade ago, he was a junior policy analyst with little exposure to how government decisions were actually made. Today, he sits in one of the country's most consequential policy-making rooms.
“The fellowship didn't teach me what to think about governance,” he told us. “It taught me how to sit across the table from people who disagreed with me and still get something done.”
That skill — collaborative, cross-sector problem solving — has defined his career since. He credits the mentorship circles and multicultural cohort structure for exposing him to perspectives he wouldn't have encountered in a single ministry or industry.
His story isn't unique among our alumni network, but it is a reminder of what the fellowship is ultimately building toward: leaders who carry PFAA's values of governance and integrity into the rooms where national decisions get made.
